Who cannot get SMP?

Anyone with active skin conditions such as psoriasis, or eczema, bleeding disorders and keloids. Are pregnant or breastfeeding, and those who have unrealistic expectations are also not ideal candidates for SMP.

How painful is SMP?

On a scale of 1-10, people rate it a '2' on average. There is no bleeding and we are only implementing the epidermis with pigment. Most of our clients fall asleep during the procedure.

Is Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) a tattoo?

Yes! It's a medical tattoo. However, the needles used in SMP are much smaller than a regular tattoo needle. It is a specialized type of nano needle to replicate a hair follicle. Additionally, traditional tattoos penetrate four layers of the skin, whereas, SMP remains within the epidermis.
